Bombay Bicycle Club is an indie rock band from London. Consisting of Jack Steadman as the lead vocals, guitarist and pianist, Jamie MacColl as the guitarist, Suren de Saram as the drummer, and Ed Nash as the bassist. They met at the university and started their first gig together in 2006 until now.
Bruno Major
Bruno Major is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from England. He started his career from 2014 where he released his EP and then a 12-song R&B album called “A Song for Every Moon” in 2017. He started his US and Europe tour in 2017 and North America tour followed a UK tour in 2018. Also in the same year, he performed his first Asia Tour.
Cigarettes After Sex is an American ambient dream-pop band. Founded in 2008 by Greg Gonzalez, lead vocals and guitarist, that Gonzalez’s voice described as “androgynous”. The music is known for their often dream-like musical style and the lyrics often based on the themes of romance and love.
Coldplay
Coldplay formed in London in 1996, consisting of Chris Martin, (vocal and piano) Jonny Buckland (guitar), Guy Berryman (bass) and Will Champion (drum). Their music style has known as alternative rock, pop-rock, and Chris Martin once stated their music as “limestone rock” in comparison of “hard rock”.
Foals
Foals is a rock band from England, consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Yannis Philippakis, drummer Jack Bevan, guitarist Jimmy Smith and keyboardist Edwin Congreave. They band formed in 2005 and have released six albums. Classified as an indie rock band, alternative rock, dance-punk, and post-rock, their musical is actually influenced by minimal techno.
Mew
Mew is a Danish alternative rock band founded in 1994. Consisting of Jonas Bjerre (vocal), Johan Wohlert (bass) and Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen (drums). Their music classified as indie, progressive, and dreamy. Most of the visuals and background animations were created by Bjerre to make it more dramatic for their gigs.
Morrissey
Morrissey is an English singer, songwriter and author. He used to be a lead vocalist and the frontman of the Smiths since 1982 to 1987, but he turn to be in solo career afterwards. Credited as one of the greatest lyricists in British history, he also known as a figure of indie rock and britpop.
Phoenix
Phoenix is an indie band from France, consisting of Thomas Mars as the vocalist, Deck d’Arcy as the bassist/keyboardist, Christian Mazzalai as the guitarist and Laurent Brancowitz as the guitarist/keyboardist. They started playing together as a “garage band” in 1997 and now they have played their music around the world.
Tame Impala
Tame Impala is a music project of Australian multi-instrumentalist, Kevin Parker. He writes, records, and produces all of the music and known as psychedelic. When touring the band consists of Dominic Simper (guitar, synthesiser), Jay Watson (synthesiser, vocals, guitar), Cam Avery (bass guitar, vocals), and Julien Barbagallo (drums, vocals).
The Strokes
The Strokes is an American rock band formed in 1998. Consisting of singer Julian Casablancas, guitarists Nick Valensi and Albert Hammond, Jr., bassist Nikolai Fraiture, and drummer Fabrizio Moretti. Inspired by classic tunesmiths like John Lennon and the street-smart attitude and angular riffs of The Velvet Underground. The band’s tune has been described as garage rock, indie rock, and post-punk.
Tom Misch
Tom Misch is a musician and producer from London, started his career by making his music on his own bedroom and posted it on soundcloud since 2012. He released singles and mixtapes in 2014 and did many collaboration with other musicians. His first album released in 2018 and it called Geography, with total of 13 songs full of jazzy, electronic, and hip-hop.
